• City of Roseville Volunteer Website
  The City of Roseville Volunteer Center provides opportunities for Roseville citizens to contribute to their community. Volunteer contributions are a value-added enhancement to City services and provide the volunteer with a unique perspective of City government and non-profit organizations.
• City of Sacramento Volunteer Website
  The City of Sacramento welcomes volunteers to help provide services and programs to its citizens. The City is committed to maintaining a close relationship between the community volunteers and the City government.
• DOVIA Sacramento
  Directors of Volunteers in Agencies. They host informational meetings once a month and provide other information and resources for local area agencies that utilize volunteers. DOVIA has created and made available a comprehensive handbook for new Volunteer Coordinators.
• Hands On Sacramento
  Link to volunteer opportunities for working professionals, with mostly evening and weekend shifts. Good referral for those who we can’t accommodate due to time constraints. Housed at the Community Services Planning Council.
• Meals on Wheels Program
  Information about the Meals on Wheels Program, which needs volunteers to deliver meals to frail, elderly, homebound seniors. Volunteers need to only commit to 2 hours per week. Operated by Senior Nutrition Services of DHA.
• SeniorNet
  SeniorNet is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to teaching seniors how to use computers. Locally, SeniorNet offers several courses and is looking for seniors willing to volunteer time to teach or assist in these courses, as well as clerical assistance.
• Volunteer Center of Sacramento 
  Provides community program information and volunteer matching, including special event volunteer opportunities.  
• Volunteer Match
  Individuals can search by zip code to find volunteer opportunities.
• Wonder, Inc.
  Matches adults in Sacramento area with foster youth for mentorship programs. DHHS/CPS collaborates with Wonder, Inc. to link our CPS foster children with mentors locally. More information about this program is currently on display on DHHS Internet site.

• Active 20-30
  Active 20-30 is a non-profit organization that raises money to provide personal growth, friendship and leadership while improving the quality of life for the special needs children throughout the community. First established in Sacramento in 1922, Active 20-30 is now established in 10 different countries. Visit the Sacramento chapters: the men’s club and the women’s club.
